Terms & Conditions.
By renting from us, you, the “Renter” agree to the following:
Booking and Payment
- Payment & Service Conditions: Full payment is required to secure the booking. All payments are non-refundable. Services will not be rendered until full payment is received.
- Booking Changes: We reserve the right to entertain changes to equipment, event date, or timings after confirmation, subject to availability and prior approval.
Equipment Usage
- Geographical Restrictions: The Renter shall not take the rented equipment outside of Singapore under any circumstances.
- Weather Protection: To prevent liability, the Renter must provide covering or protection from weather conditions such as direct sunlight, rain, humidity, or excessive winds to the equipment rented from Pulse Entertainment.
Liability and Damage
- Damage, Theft, or Loss: In the event of damage, theft, or loss of any equipment provided by Pulse Entertainment due to negligence by the Renter, their members, or guests, the Renter shall be liable for the repair or replacement costs up to the retail price of the rented equipment. The Renter is required to promptly inform Pulse Entertainment of any such incidents.
Event Overrun, Late Fees, and Client Lateness Policy
- Notification of Overrun: Should there be a case where an event overruns, the Renter is required to promptly inform Pulse Entertainment.
- Late Return of Equipment: For post-event collections by Pulse Entertainment or self-return by the Renter, a 60-minute grace period from the agreed return or collection time will be given. Past this grace period, a late fee equivalent to the daily rental rate will be charged to the Renter until all equipment is returned to Pulse Entertainment.
- Client Lateness or No-Show: If Pulse Entertainment arrives at the venue at the agreed delivery/setup time or the Renter is scheduled to self-pick up equipment, and the Renter (or their authorised representative) is not present, a 30-minute grace period will be observed. After this period, a waiting surcharge of $50 per 30 minutes will be charged, subject to crew availability. If Pulse Entertainment is unable to continue waiting due to other scheduled commitments, we reserve the right to leave the venue (for delivery) or reschedule the handover (for self-pickup) and mark the job as incomplete.
In such cases:
– No refunds will be provided.
– Any waiting time already incurred will still be chargeable, even if the job does not proceed.
– Additional delivery or rescheduling charges will apply if a second trip is requested.
– Pulse Entertainment is not liable for any delays or disruptions caused by the Renter’s unavailability.
Right to Refuse Service
Pulse Entertainment reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or organization at our discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, situations involving:
- Breach of Contract: Previous breaches of contract or rental agreement terms.
- Payment Issues: Failure to make timely payments or history of non-payment.
- Equipment Misuse: Previous incidents of damage to equipment or inappropriate use.
- Unsafe Conditions: Events or locations deemed unsafe for our staff or equipment.
- Unprofessional Behavior: Unprofessional or abusive behavior towards our staff.
- Legal Compliance: Situations where compliance with Singapore laws may be compromised.
